"Clean room. Great location "

"When you first look at this place you think it is just a fancy motel 6 ... but then you look deeper and it really shines. The breakfasts were wonderful - kind of like American dim sum - small plates of lots of different types of breakfast. A couple of pieces of French toast, avocado toast bites, poached egg, fruit cup, etc. It really was way better than we ever expected. The rooms were nicely appointed. The only issue we had is that our room was right next to main walkway and we could hear when anyone walked by - which most of the time wasn't an issue, but every once in a while it sounded like someone was right in our room with us! They also have amazing made to order pizzas that you can savor outside by their many fire pits. It was chilly the one night we went out there and they had blankets for us and we were very cozy by the fire. Also you are right in downtown Carmel (wine tasting, great restaurants)!"

"We had a great stay. The inn was perfect.. charming, clean, staff friendly. Nice small heated pool. Was in the heart of downtown, easy to walk to all of the shops and restaurants as well as the beautiful beach. Good value and a great short stay."

"Morning Food options was not worth mentioning. After seeing the options, I left property. Actual condition of Property was not as advertised. The pictures were totally inaccurate. Would not Recommend or stay at property again. "

"I knew the property was a remodeled motel So that being said they did a good job with the exterior ~lots of hanging baskets The breakfast was typical of Major hotels. I liked that you could walk easily to the town and beach We went in April which was cooler than expected The only thing I noticed was not sure it has air conditioning? We didn’t need it but if summer gets hot I’m not sure I would stay there without, I would check"

"Really enjoyed our stay. PROS: - Very nice, very clean property - Excellent service from bell boy and house keeping - Loved our room, very spacious (Rm #1) - Comfortable bed - Plenty of hot water for showers - Bottled waters every day - Great shampoo, conditioner, body wash CONS: -We stayed in room #1, which was right by the bakery door and one of the resteraunt doors. It wasn't an issue until Friday night when loud people were leaving the resteraunt (We go to bed early). -You can't really open a window or the blinds in room #1, since everyone walking through courtyard/ in and out of bakery/hotel can see right in. - The hotel does not have a business center. Of course, it was the one time my husband needed to use an actual computer. But. There was a library just up the street. - Most of the rooms do not have air conditioning. Ours did, but it did not work too well. - No coffee in the room (you could order room service), but had bakery/coffee for purchase right outside the door."

"All the inns in Carmel are converted motels - do lower your expectations to start with. This one in particular was so old the walls were paper thin and construction was happening across the street and we stayed in a unit on the corner of an intersection- so we got zero sleep most of the night. There were cobwebs in the corner of the room, no AC- so you have to open the windows- letting in more noise. The bathroom is tiny tiny tiny and old pink tile. Not sure there’s a better option in town but this wasn’t it. It was a close walk to town and the popular hogs breath restaurant. Parking was also tiny- very small spots to hold about 8 cars. "
