Cute, older, yet updated Inn. The additional room with the twin beds is what sold us. Perfect for traveling with a teen. Excellent location, easy check in and parking. I only interacted with the front desk once but the gentleman was super friendly. My only comment is hooks in the bathroom, or, somewhere additional to hang towels 😁 Otherwise, a really fun place to stay, walkable to everything.

We had an issue with our fireplace not working the first night. Mike the manager upgraded us to remedy the situation. Our new room was excellent! It was the best room in the place and was perfect for our anniversary get away. I am so happy the attention to our problem and being fixed with no arguments, no stress. Whenever we stay in Carmel again we will book the Wayfarer Inn!

There is a small parking area but plenty of parking on the local streets that has no time limits. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to everything but at night it is a quiet oasis nestled in a small neighborhood. The staff is really helpful. I enjoyed my time there and will be going back soon. thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great for families!

The building is older, but the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Safe neighborhood and the owners were very nice. Will definitely visit again!

Loved the location! Was mostly clean. Could use an update, but overall very comfortable! Loved that it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms! Would stay there again!!
