"Our stay at the Wight Hotel in Sandown was absolutely brilliant. Full Monty breakfast was first class. The staff were great - nothing was too much trouble for them; so friendly and helpful. we were made to feel very welcome and soon made ourselves at home enjoying the friendly Wight atmosphere and all the services which were available. some great nights in the bar with the entertainment. The hotel is located close to all the amenities and bus stops. what more could you want for a great holiday...

"Stayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard. Will be coming back for a longer stay next time and would certainly recommend to friends and family or people in general 👍"

"If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. "Welcoming, hard working and professional staff.
W enjoyed a sea view room with a balcony. We were able to check in early and shown to the room. Local maps, guides and bus time tables were available. The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent.
This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. It is not The Ritz, nor does it pretend to be and offers a great location and reasonable prices.
The breakfast was substantial, although we would have preferred a few...
