"This property has so much potential if only it was run well. New building all the right parts. Run poorly. Examples: no hangers in closet until requested, phone had flashing message and over 5 day stay no one could figure out how to get the message, coffee cup lids didn't fit cups and yet they were left out to fluster customers (I suggested 3 days in a row to remove lids until the correct ones could be attained), no 1/2&1/2 after day 1 & I was told each day it will be here tomorrow, no regular milk day 5, breakfast was poor and sometimes just cold. Sisters room was not even cleaned on one day. This could be an excellent place to stay with some attention to detail. "

"This place wanted to charge $35 to check in early. Once I got there, the layout of the room was absolutely ridiculous. You walk in the door and you are directly at the bed. The bed was not even 1 foot away from the door. There was just enough room to open the door."

"No wi-fi for over a day! They did offer us an additional night free. Room had sat for awhile, not cleaned regularly. There was a gritty substance on the bathroom vanity top, which washed off with a wet wipe. The floor was tiled and sand was found in the grout lines. Otherwise room was clean, bed linens appeared to be clean, sink, shower and toilet were clean. We did have to manually empty the dehumidifier as it was not set up to drain automatically. Coffee choices were all decaf, I need my caffeine! I was able to get some from the office. A/C fan was making a strange noise that kept us up the first night. The second night we were too tired to care. Refrigerator worked fine. I thought there was a microwave in every room, which there wasn't. The ice machine located around the corner had lovely crunchy soft ice and there was a microwave in the room too. I do need to add that the hotel is located just off the beach, easily within walking distance. That was really nice!!!"

"considering the environment the hotel is located in, it is a good place to stay. It's not easy to keep things nice in harsh environments. I believe the Excellent rating I saw when Travelocity was recommending hotels in the area was over-rated. I would give it a Great rating, but definitely not an Excellent rating. There was plenty of focus on maintaining the condition of the front of the building, but the back of the building, where we entered/exited could of been mistaken for a truck stop...2 star at most in this area. This is a good hotel, with a good staff, and nothing wrong with the breakfast. The gym is nice, and my room was clean and nice, it just wasn't Excellent quality.....tho I'm sure it was when it was new. Good stay, Thank You"

"Smoking idiot set off the smoke alarms after we fell asleep. Alarm resonated for hours. Sleepless night! Staff--we're sorry--That's it??? "

"I was a little disappointed because the description said that it was on the beach, but it was really on the bay. The sand was horrible. It had very sharp pieces of shell and they did not provide chairs or awnings. They had to be rented. Also, while my husband was getting ready to take a shower, the vent cover fell on top of his head and we were not offered any compensation."
