I've stayed at the Tru in 2 different cities. The formula is exact. It's a very open, young atmosphere. It's extremely clean and well-maintained. It is minimal in decor, i.e. hooks and hangers instead of a dresser; and I like the fact they only clean every other day (daily if you request). It's pet friendly and has all the amenities of this class of hotel. There is no restaurant/room service, no coffee maker or microwave, but there is a mini-fridge. Good coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby and I'm sure they'd find a way to heat the leftovers. I feel safe, and the bed and pillows are super comfy. The topper is the TV has all my fav stations and the ability to hook into it with your laptop & stream. Room rate is $100/nt average.
