They say Florida is flat. I guess I chose the one place that disproves that notion.
Founded October 3, 1887 in Tallahassee Fl. on the former Highwood plantation, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) sits atop some of the highest hills in the state of Florida and overlook the capital city through a mix of towering palms and majestic, Spanish moss laden, Live Oak trees. This beautiful building sits just off the quadrangle here at Florida A&M University. One of the old Carnegie libraries, it now hosts a regional archive and museum for culture.
