Every member of staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. The room was a good size well decorated and very clean. Only a 15 minute walk from the station and 10 minutes to the duomo. Enjoyed our stay. thank you

Old building but clean, everyone is super nice, and friendly. Even after checkout we could leave our luggage to walk all day in the surroundings. I would definitely stay again, it’s 15 mins walking from the train station.

Accessible from train station and Duomo - 15-20 min walk. Clean, quiet and big family room. Small fridge and kettle available. Breakfast - typical Italian breakfast. Also served hard boiled eggs. Friendly staff.

The room was very nice. It looked very rustic and authentic. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The beds are pretty comfortable but the pillows are very stiff. The biggest issue was the road traffic outside. When cars would drive by it was very loud and would shake the windows. Closing the shutters helped.

When we first got our room, we were not happy. It was very small, old and noisy from being on a blvd where motorcycles loudly drive by. I had booked 2 rooms (one for us and one for our relatives) when I saw their room, on the other side of hotel, I immediately went back to reception to request a room change to one like them. 😊 Francesca immediately understood and happily moved us to the room next to my brother, because it was empty! Which happened to be an upgrade as well. That move made all the difference in our trip. She was very helpful during our stay and we really appreciate her great service and awesome personality. The hotel is lucky to have her as an employee 👏

Make sure to communicate with hotel before stay.

The room was great very clean and updated. Didn’t get to try their breakfast as we would wake up after their breakfast time frame. One big issue was it says kids stay free and when I booked it my reservation clearly said 2 adults one kid. The hotel said to me the reservation was only for two adults then I showed them the confirmation and they switched it up on me and said kids to them are two and under all other have to pay. I had no choice due to the lack of hotels close to where we wanted that I paid the extra 20 euros he asked for. Had it not been for that interaction this stay would have been great.

Pros: The staff was excellent and helpful. The room was very clean. Breakfast was limited but very good and great service. The room was very clean. Cons: The room was fairly basic. I wished there was a full length mirror, more counter storage or wall hooks in the bathroom. No place to put clothes or toiletries while showering or getting ready. Only Italian TV. No options for Prime, YouTube or Netflix. Most people don’t visit Florence to watch tv so not a big deal but we had one really rainy evening and we were exhausted. It would have been nice to be able to watch some TV or movie. Overall, I would stay there again and recommend it as a safe clean basic budget accommodation.

I really enjoyed my stay at Residenza Hotel Cimabue. The staff at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. The hotel room was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The area is very quiet which is nice but also very close to the center and walking distance to the train station. I stayed here for three nights and would definitely recommend.
