"My initial thought was that a motel was not likely to be a great property. Wrong! The Anchorage Motelmis in a perfect location - 5 minute walk to shuttle service for Acadia National Park and easy access to many great restaurants. We were in the new building and the room had everything we needed including a microwave. Also, two very comfortable chairs, nightstands on both sides of the beds, shower with lots of pressure,etc. Staff was excellent - both Susie and Natalie had excellent suggestions...
"Plenty of activities for the kids! Everything was clean and neat and we loved the complimentary perks—trail mix, movie night, touch tank, s’mores and the afternoon snacks. Not to mention breakfast was delicious every day. Thank you! "

"We loved our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor! We selected an ocean view, which was beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We loved the tiki bar and restaurants on site as well. The proximity to town and hiking in Acadia, with shuttle bus service available throughout our stay, was especially helpful. There was so much to do, we didn't really spend too much time in the room; however, after a long day exploring Bar Harbor's beauty, we knew we'd get a restful night before...
"Had a great time at Acadia Under Canvas- it was our first stay with Under Canvas and really enjoyed it. Great food options- little pricey but yummy! Staff was very friendly and informative. Will do it again!"
"We were actually upgraded to their sister property the Holiday Inn across the street. We were given a fantastic private suite. The breakfast was very good but busy. The whole property is large and overlooks the water. "
"The location was beautiful and well worth the price. The indoor pool exceeded our expectations and was immaculate as was the hot tub. We did not use the outdoor pool or fire pit but both looked inviting. The location is close enough to walk to the d9wntown village. The rooms are a little dated but beds were comfortable, Internet access was excellent."

We loved the fresh afternoon snacks after coming back from hiking each day and fresh coffee in the morning. We stayed in room #1 and it was the perfect size with a very comfy bed.
