"This property is about a half hour away from a beautiful national park. It’s a part of the local downtown area. There was a fantastic seafood restaurant just three blocks away. "The hotel setting is superb, with a lovely outdoor pool overlooking the water and food and drink service at the pool. Our room was a typical hotel room, a bit dated, but we had a small balcony overlooking the water, which was worth the extra money. The shuttle that runs from the hotel to downtown Bat Harbor was clean and on time. "
"Room is good.... Wifi great and lots of ports for charging deliver, comfy bed, excellent lighting. Parking right at the door. Very quiet despite adjacent rooms being occupied and watching TV. On the negative side, there is a very strong odor of cleaning chemicals --and I'm a bit reluctant to keep the windows open to get fresh air on a chilly evening. We older folks would appreciate two steps, not onebsteep one, from the parking lot to the entry."

"We chose the Lucerne Inn for our visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia Nat'l Park. Although it was a good 30 minutes away, the drive was well worth it. The property is just gorgeous, both outside and in. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. And the price for the room is very reasonable considering what you get. Highly recommend. "
