"We have stayed here 4 times for overnight stops. Everything is lovely and clean, staff, for the most part are pleasant and professional - I say for the most part - on our latest visit, we ordered a wine spritzer and specified soda, not lemonade and a half pint of pepsi. We got a spritzer with lemonade and a full pint of pepsi but it was soon sorted. We have had 4 different rooms out of the 5 that there are, and only one of them was what I would class as too small even for a standard...

"Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just...

"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great selection. A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. The lady at reception was also lovely and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival. All the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. "Everything good. Only minor issues were the shower had no hooks or shelves to put shampoo or shower gel or flanels/scrubbing. And the cooling fan in our room was super noisy, so couldn't be used. As I say, minor."
