"Great views and location, with a few trade-offs We enjoyed our stay in this spacious penthouse apartment. The rooftop balcony offers a fantastic view, and the location is ideal—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions. The in-unit washer and dryer were a big plus, and the host was very responsive throughout our stay. There are a few things to note: the apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift, so be prepared for stairs especially if you have luggage. The TV...

"A few steps from the airport makes it convenient to roll your bags over to the terminal (which is what we did). Easy check-in, helpful and friendly staff, and a spacious lobby (with a mini pool and ping pong tables + powered work stations) caters to all transit populations. If I had to be picky, I would've liked to see a tea/coffee maker in the room. "

"Convenient location that is 1 block away from the pier. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There was a heat wave during our visit and there is no AC in the rooms. The window in our room only cracked open a little bit but they did give us some fans. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options for all! Room itself was clean, beds were comfortable."

"Great stay just outside the heart of Bergen's Bryggen area, right next to the fortress. We had no view out the window, but the business category room was a good size and bathroom very large for Europe. We also appreciated having laundry available (washer and dryer) on site, for a fee, for hotel guests. The building has no air conditioning, which was an issue when we stayed due to the July heatwave, but the front desk let us borrow a small fan which at least provided a tiny bit of moving air in the room."
