"Trip started with a very rude front desk clerk, then two room switches as the beds were broken, no water pressure, no parking available. I am an IHG rewards member and can honestly say this is the worst Holiday Inn Express that I have ever stayed in. Stay somewhere else. "

"Stayed one night. Room was clean. Mattress was nice with lots of pillows. It had all the usual toiletries. Iron and board, fridge. Micro and hair dryer. Very quiet on 4th floor. Staff were pleasant. I missed breakfast. Denny's is next door. 4 stars because the bathroom outlets were not working and I told the front desk when I left. "

"The Prime Rate Inn remains the worst hotel or motel stay in decades, this from a very experienced traveler. The Inn is rundown, with shoddy worn out furniture, that connects with travelling contractors and homeless people with low standards. The front desk is surrounded by plastic, to address security concerns. You'll notice the smell of mold, covered by cleaning chemicals upon entry. Rooms have poor accommodations, with cheap towels and plastic cups and noisy old window units. The pool is a leftover from when this may have been a decent '70's family oriented venue. While the price was relatively low, it was comparable to peer hotels in much better condition. It was noisy at night with contractors drinking in the parking lot. The staff was powerless and there was no manager on site past 4:30. "Breakfast" was burnt coffee and Twinkie donuts or instant cocoa. I would not have been surprised to see hourly rates for "entertainers." While I could go on, the message is simple - avoid the Prime Rate Inn unless you enjoy squalor. It is a small step above sleeping on the street (which is clearly one source of the clientele)"

"Great place to stay. All staff were so kind and helpful- from the front desk people both at check-in and check-out to the sweet shuttle driver. Free shuttle to airport was so convenient. Pool is fantastic for young kids. The area around the pool is very large and accommodating for sitting / gathering space. Room was spacious and clean, quiet. Grab and go breakfast was fine - just what you would expect for “grab and go”. Starbucks coffee for purchase in hotel. All in all can’t be beat for a hotel so near MOA and MSP."
