Overall, Lumley Castle delivers a unique and memorable experience. The combination of character, comfort, and outstanding service makes it a place I would happily return to and highly recommend, to the point we have booked to stay longer next year."

"The check in process could be clearer I'm not sure if this was an issue with hotels.com who I booked through or the venue but I didn't receive any check in instructions and when I got to the location the restaurant was closed and I was sat outside nearly an hour making phone calls trying to get in. That said the room was lovely for what I paid and once I was in the staff that I saw were really friendly and acommodating. The location is perfect for where my office is when I need to be in Durham so I would definitely stay again."
