"Howfield is a personal favourite of ours, it's such a nice, clean place with great value for money. The restaurant next-door is also a great plus, never had any issues from the current construction happening to the buildings next-door either! "
"We were here for a few days to explore this part of Wales. This house with self-catering rooms was ideal for our stay.
A short walk away is a wonderful cafe with fresh baked goods and a nice espresso.
The town centre is a short distance down the hill where there are a few pubs, shops and restaurants.
There are some great hiking opportunities nearby as well. "
"Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix
But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio."

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
