"The room was clean but clearly dated and in need of repair. The restaurant staff was off putting and didn’t seem to know what was going on. The menu barely listed the ingredients and when we disclosed a food allergy, they didn’t say anything or write anything down about it. Food was clearly not fresh and was thawed from frozen."

"Apartment is relatively small. Half of the hotel is currently looking over a construction site. Lobby is very small and almost shared with a coffee shop. Wondering if a better location would be closer to the college campus."

"This was an okay hotel. Not the best I’ve stayed in and not the worst. The room could have used a deeper cleaning before use and the cartoned water was kind of obnoxious. Staff were friendly and the doorman was very nice and helpful. If you’re in Dublin for a short stint and don’t plan to spend too much time in your room, this place gets the job done. The location was the best part of my stay - very centrally located and easy to get to other transport lines if necessary."

"Centrally located ! For our first time in Dublin, we were close to all attractions and found this location ideal ! Everything was walking distance for us in the city. The hotel room was spacious and clean. Saturday night heard some music from the outside, but otherwise very quiet room. Dublin Express stop was 5 min walking from the hotel - which again so convenient to get to and from airport. Highly recommend property!!!"

"The beds are as hard as the floor! Our backs were killing us! Literally absolutely no give in the mattress. Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever had to sleep in. Ruined our trip. "

"Nice hotel but we are a family of three and were put in the basement because that is their largest room (is what they said). The room was not that big. Our floor was -1 in the elevator. We had a view of a stairwell. Upon checking in we found ants in our bathroom. They had an air freshener in the room that hurt my throat it was so strong and hard to sleep in. I am guessing it was in there to cover the musty smells that can happen in basements. The breakfast was amazing and I would recommend this...

"I have stayed with CitizenM in London and now Dublin and I really love it. Rooms are small, but very modern, functional and clean. Shower and climate control are great. Staff is always very helpful and friendly; and the lobby has a fun vibe, without being too energetic. The location here is fantastic — just south of the action in Temple Bar, so you can walk up in a few minutes, but it’s VERY quiet around the actual hotel.
