"We had a lovely two night stay at the Sligachan Hotel. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy with good pillows, and the rain shower feature in the bathroom was wonderful! We had a nice view of the water from our window.
The bar next door, Seumas' Bar had an excellent selection of whiskey, a very nice dinner menu. The sea bass was fabulous and the honey cake dessert was divine.
We would like to especially thank Mariam at the front desk for being so kind and helpful during our stay.

"I was initially hesitant to book this hotel after reading several negative reviews, but I’m glad I did. My family and I stayed for two days and had a really enjoyable experience.
The room was spacious, and the bathroom had been recently renovated with an excellent shower. Breakfast was also very good, offering a nice start to the day. What stood out the most was the staff — everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
The location is fantastic, with beautiful views and convenient access to nearby amenities like a petrol station and supermarkets such as Asda and Co-op. Free parking is also a great bonus.
A special mention goes to Mr Prasad, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more pleasant."
"Check in - smooth & easy - however I was asked for my CC details including the CVV. Personally not come across this before & unsure why CVV was required, potential issue there for data breaches especially as the CVV was stored under 'guest name'. I have since cancelled thay card just to be safe. I handed over the details as i was knackered and asked them to delete later, which they said they did but cant verify.
Room condition - really nice, clean and comfy bed, nice bathroom. Simple things could improve the raring, like... loose floor tiles in the bathroom could be fixed easily with re grouting (not a big job).
Breakfast - Excellent. Really really good. Lots of choice and cooked really well.
Location - perfect. If you come to skye you will pass here at sompoint. The views are amazing from the hotel or on the bridge nearby."
"Rooms were clean and loved the individual ‘huts’. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh. The only complaint that I would have is that we arrived at the resort after 7pm and they would not accommodate us for dinner. There was a couple that checked in minutes before us who had no issue. After a long day of travelling, this was frustrating."
"Juniper House exceeded expectations. Our room was beautifully decorated, filled with quality furniture, and very clean. Staff were amazing too. Friendly and efficient. "
"No private parking or drop off spot. Must use public metered parking which is limited in time. Outstanding bar and restaurant. Make reservations for dinner. Grocery store in next block. Small rooms. "
"Convenient location in Portree. Rooms are modest but well maintained. There's a public parking lot right out front which is nice though it probably gets filled quickly as visitors visit the town, and they ticket cars right as the free overnight period ends in the morning."
