We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. "After having spent a couple of nights at a so-called 4-star hotel in London, the easy-going simplicity of Park Inn, its kind, approachable staff, the relaxed and quality dining, and the thoughtfulness of an openable window and a portable fan made for a superior and very relaxing and ver convient experience. I have been through Shannon a dozen times but never stayed here before -- I plan to, next time I visit Ireland. "

"We arrived late after a long drive, and check-in was quick with friendly, helpful reception staff. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant – great food and wonderful wait staff. We loved the location, especially compared to other properties we passed through in more congested areas. We found this hotel by accident when our Doolin booking fell through, and we're so glad we did!"

"It's an old fashioned hotel. If you feel physically limited be sure to tell them in advance; my room required stairs as the lift did not reach that level. The bathroom was fully modern. The breakfast was excellent, with kitchen orders as well as buffet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bar has live entertainment. The ground are spectacular, with a view of the river and falls."

"Had a great stay from start to finish. The car park was convenient and clean, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were warm and chatty throughout. Our room was spotless with great amenities, a really comfortable bed, and a lovely view of the river. We had a drink in the bar — the duty manager served us and was absolutely lovely, and the cocktails were really well made. Breakfast was also very good, and a special shout-out to the tall young Irish man who looked after us — he was so friendly and full of chat, he honestly made the stay! We’d definitely recommend and would love to come back. "
