"Lovely rooms, central for trains and city centre, but quiet."

"I stayed in this hotel in Exeter Oct 26-29. The woman who checked me in could not seem less happy to see me or in in checking me in. "Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Will stay again when down there next."

"A little gem. We had a lovely room overlooking the river. Beautifully decorated, nice furnishings, comfortable bad and bedding. It's a small inn with 11 rooms so no lifts and no miles of corridors (perfect for me). We had a very good dinner in the restaurant so there was no need to walk back into the city centre. Breakfast was very good, the hot food was served so freshly cooked rather than buffet. All staff were friendly and helpful. The free, convenient parking was a bonus."
