"One of the best independent pub hotels I have stayed in. Cannot fault the accommodation but the drive to and the parking in the village could prove challenging if you are not used to driving in rural single track areas. Great place"

"The requested room was an ensuite, it had a toilet and bath , no shower which might be problematic for some. The room didn't have a fan which meant I had to have the windows open all night which was noisy. I paid for a basic room and that's what I got."

"Lack of water in the rooms and limited amount of tea and coffee, for two people. Whilst I understand the need to cut back on extras like this, these are the little things that make the stay special. Impressed by all the staff who greeted us nicely whenever within their space."
