"We have stayed here previously but arrived late into the evening and were off early the next day.
We arrived much earlier this year to enable us to explore a bit more, and were pleasantly surprised with what we found in terms if amenities, although the pool was busy and we were a bit late to take advantage of it.
Again we ate at the restaurant which was lovely and staff were attentive to our dietary requirements.

"The property is an historical building decorated in a sympathetic way. The grounds were lovely and you could sit out if you wanted to. The bedroom was large but the over bath shower was a bit tricky and needed a hand rail to safely get in and out.
Breakfast was simple, croissants, bread, jam and a few bits of cheese. "
"I have stayed in this Hotel many times now, with my wife, my children and alone - it is the first place past the tunnel and does not look appealing from the outside. In fact it looks like something from the 1970s - but do not let that put you off - The staff, the flexibility make up for the look. The staff are what makes it- want a drink at 1am, no problem, want a pizza for the kids, no problem - want to practice some French- they will speak French even though their English is probably better...

It has really nice staff, many speak english but even the staff who don't are friendly and we find a way to communicate.
It is always nipping clean, nice towels and linens.
