What you should know: the accommodation is pet-friendly, which means dogs may be present in the rooms. This can be problematic for people with dog hair allergies if the staff do not remove all the hair from the carpet when changing rooms. But even in this regard, we received excellent assistance! "Fantastic large room looking toward the Pont du Normandie. Excellent soundproofing. Didn’t hear a sound - and we did have neighbours. No fridge, but there was a safe. Quality toiletries. Large clean bathroom, with separate shower and bath. Furnished balcony. Two quibbles: WiFi was poor at the desk, but fine on the other side of the room. The sink drained very slowly."

"We had a wonderful pre-cruise stay at Mercure Le Havre Centre! Great location! We arrived from Paris via train and the hotel was a short walk (10 minutes with 2 large luggage) from the station. On the day of embarkation, we walked to the the cruise terminal (20 minutes on a beautiful sunny day!) The staff was absolutely Super! The room was clean and spacious as well as the bathroom! And the breakfast was as good as you'll find anywhere with numerous options! We definitely look forward to...
