"To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. Our room's A/C fan was on maximum and it simply wasn't able to keep up. By Day2 of our stay, water began dripping from the ceiling steadily - we had to physically move our bed away from it. "Very clean and mostly friendly staff. However there were a few things that could have been better. First, there were barely any outlets in the room, one in the bathroom and only one in the main room. There were two regular usb's (typeC) so if you had a newer iphone or laptop you could not charge (they are type A) unless you knew and brought usb c adapters. "This hotel is a true gem in Avignon. I stayed for one night and wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the property. My room was comfortable with a great AC, a little balcony, and stocked with an array of high end bath products. The central garden was a beautiful spot to rest after a day of walking around.
