We absolutely love this place. The views are amazing. It's quiet and peaceful. Walking distance to Lake Estes, on the edge of town away from the hustle and bustle. Second time staying here, will come back when we can. Thank you for another wonderful stay.
The room was very clean. Thank you for the fan. I didn't realize there was no air conditioning, but it was fine and room was always a nice temperature. The view was fantastic. The office was well stocked with items we needed and was always available. The hummingbird feeders are a nice touch. We would stay again.
The room was much larger than we thought it was going to be, in fact it felt like a small apartment! We will definitely be back in warmer weather for mor amenities!
Decent place with nice views. Room was comfortable and fire place was an added bonus. There was no one in the office and there were no specific instructions left for me. Manager did call me within 20 minutes and it all worked out.
The Lodge provided us a very relaxing weekend stay. Email communication before our arrival was prompt and thorough. The staff was friendly and helpful on-site. It's located in close proximity to roads, shops, and the fairgrounds. I'd stay here again, first choice.
I loved everything. It was a very welcoming. The rooms were very clean I loved sitting outside on the wooden swing looking at the mountains.
We will be back to stay again,
The good: great customer service, very clean, great price for the area, amazing views, quiet, comfortable bed and pillows, towels soft and not reaking of bleach, wood burining fireplace, hot shower
Needs improvement: couch not comfortable, chairs for dining table need to be tightened, kitchen and bathroom could use an update but were very clean and usable as is, bedspread very thin and additional blanket too small for bed
Overall we were very satisfied and will visit again.
property is beautiful, our room needed more electrical outlets, when you have phones, hearing aides, CPAP machine, and hairdryers and other things there were not enough, soap dispensers in bathrooms' need marked what's in them. Thanks for the beautiful area to vacation in.
Check in and the office was great.
The "Deer" suite was a great option for a couple. We stayed for two nights and totally enjoyed the property as an affordable option near town with a very nice view. The property manager was very welcoming, and he does a great job keeping the units, which are older, in good repair. The queen bed was quite comfortable; the love seat was fine; the kitchen appliances worked well, and the kitchen was equipped with more than enough cookware and dinnerware for two. We loved the fireplace and the availability of bottled water, towels, books and DVD movies as needed/wanted using an old school low-tech honor system! Considering its charm and comfort, we didn't mind a few cracked tiles in the shower and the little bit of rust in the tub and sink. It was a clean, comfy, welcoming property with a happy vibe! The pictures were taken sitting in one of the chairs outside the Lakeside building.
There was a small inconvenience when we started our stay, but Stephanie and Mark resolved it within the hour. My wife and I were impressed with their professionalism and care. The Wi-Fi was beyond impressive at 300mbps DL speeds - absolutely incredible. We had a fridge, comfy-cozy bed, and place to hang our coats. I would highly recommend Estes Lake Lodge. I would come back here again.
Maybe I was uninformed while booking, but I expected someone to be in office upon checkin. Simple misunderstanding. Either way, keys were prepared and displayed, and they have a wealth of entertainment to provide from the main office during your stay. Great for the value. Would recommend depending on goals for vacation.
We loved our stay and we’re grateful we picked Estes Lake Lodge. We came down, unknowingly, during “Elkfest”, which had tons of people coming in to enjoy. Estes Lake Lodge had the best location so we weren’t at all swamped like the rest of Estes Park. We got the greatest treat as a family of over 12 elk camped down right in front of us! Excellent bird watching too. We were lucky to have a fireplace and the office is open 24 hours for supplies you need, like firewood, And the check in and out process is user friendly. Its all “on your own”, which we appreciated. We will stay there again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Could not sleep on the pillows they were flat like cardboard, used the cushions from the couch behind them. The shower was wonderful, until anyone flushed the toilet even in another unit, and you stood in the shower with no water for what felt like eternity (3 minutes until the toilet filled back up). The property is located off lake Estes and the animals and views were beautiful.
I really liked the cabin feel of the room, and it was nice to have the option to sit outside. The first night was fairly warm, but the window open with the ceiling fan on worked really well. The bed wasn’t very comfortable & the pillows were terrible. Somewhere to put my suitcase other than the chair or fireplace would have been great. Some of the dishes were clean, some were not. The sponge was used and shriveled up, though I could have gotten it wet and microwaved it to sanitize it. The turn into the lodge coming down the hill is a little sketchy since it’s also a turn lane for oncoming cars. Overall it was okay & I might stay there again.
