"A beautiful hotel and lovely staff. We stayed with our 2 dogs during a drive to Portugal. Best meal of our week in hotel restaurant. We drove up some narrow streets direct to front door. Easy Parking - 20 mins restriction unloaded then drove 5 mins to good underground car park. Next day we opted to walk the 300 metres or so with luggage rather than do the drive again. I had been concerned about parking but it was all good. Would fully recommend the hotel and it's set in a lovely tree lined square"

"Staff at the check-in counter was great, very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and fit three adults no problem. The Hotel itself is in a great location, 5 min walk to the main plaza with lots of restaurants and stores."

"The hotel is very impressive. What looks like an old castle restored and converted with many of the old features remaining. Staff very helpful, pets allowing in the bar which was great. Car parking in the grounds and very easy to enter/exit. The hotel sits in a big beautiful square. Would happily recommend."
