"Great hostel, good Central location. 5 minutes walk into the city centre, 2 minutes walk from the nearest bars and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable bed and good communication from the host throughout our stay. If I'm nit picking the only very slight drawback was, the bedroom curtains, weren't full blackout (I'm a very light sleeper) but this was a very small thing, and it probably won't affect most people. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Recommended. "

"Convenient location that is walkable to old town, bars, shopping, and a huge public parking lot. Clean room, wifi worked great, breakfast was wonderful, front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet at night with some staff noise outside our window in the morning. Beautiful yellow building and breakfast room. I’d stay here again and recommend to others."

"I only stayed here one night but wished I stayed longer! The area is incredible, walkable to the busses, trains, and the pier. This hotel was beautiful and clean - I especially enjoyed the window that overlooked the street and the communal kitchen was a nice bonus. Will certainly return! "

"The busy part and old town of Faro were only a ten minute walk. Avenue 41 was also close to good grocery shops and reataurants. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, even printing our boarding passes. The rooftop terrace was a lovely apot to unwind! Hoghly recommend."

"A gem of a place near Faro train station and the old town. Clean, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Very quiet at night time, nice bed and a continental breakfast to start off the day! Next time I'm in Faro, I'll plan to stay here again."

"Staff were lovely and attentive, bathrooms were clean, common room is a bit spartan... but the real issue is the beds; they're a bit of a mess. Wooden frames that creak, wobble like crazy, and wake everyone in the room over even slight movements. No AC, and the fans used to substitute sadly don't reach up to the top bunks so you're just profusely sweating while you desperately try not to move. Overall I'd say only stay if you really need a cheap bed. Think of it like an amusement ride!"

"Pros: 10-15m walk from bus station, train station and old town Easy to check in and clear instructions Complimentary natas for breakfast Cons: Emailed host 3x before arrival date - did not receive a reply Room lacking some basics - no towel rail in bathroom, AC remote not working, no mirror at dressing table. Wifi not working properly. Poor sound proofing - dog barking for hours in evening - very loud Okay for 1 night but not good value for money."
