"We had a lovely stay at this property. We were impressed overall with the accommodations (VERY pet friendly), the continental breakfast and breakfast room was refreshing, and the grounds and rooms were spacious and well kept.
We found the pool and hot tub area to be a tad dated, and a little lacking in ambience. Lounge chairs might have helped, and more wood in those areas would have made it seem not so sterile. "
"We stayed in mid-May and had an absolutely amazing experience. If you're looking for a little less congested of a place to stay in Door County Ephraim really seems like the place to be. We stayed in room 220, directly over the Old Post Office Restaurant and it was the first day of the season they were doing their fish boil so we grabbed a spot in that. The private dock was awesome for watching sunsets and it wasn't really warm enough yet that anyone was using the private beach.
Everything at the facilities was very clean and well kept yet still had that 'old world' charm to it. We were only there for two nights so we didn't really interact too much with the staff which to us was a great thing, nothing we were wanting for and they left us be. The two ladies we met at the front desk at check-in and check-out were incredibly nice and very helpful with information about the area.
Overall this was a fantastic getaway weekend and one we hope to take again in the not to distant future and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere other than here."
"Very good stay, except that several of the light fixtures in the room did not work. Bathroom sink area was stand alone with essentially no place to store toiletries. Extremely convenient to downtown Sister Bay. Overall, a good stay!"
"Everyone we encountered from the staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast offered has options for everybody and is very tasty. This is our fourth stay at this hotel and it has been consistently a 5 star visit."
