"The property was well located but parking was on the street and you had to keep feeding the parking meters while parked. The property was very clean and we were greeted well. The staff was helpful. The room and bathroom were a bit odd in that we were placed on the top floor in a renovated attic room. It was in August and very hot that week. The air conditioning couldn’t keep up with the heat so the room was stuffy. In the bathroom, there was a nice walk-in shower. However, there was no place to set your shampoo, soap, razors, etc. while showering so you had to set them on the floor. Other than very few minor items, the property was very nice and I would definitely stay there again when returning to Epernay."

The person on the front desk was particularly unhelpful. We arrived at 12pm, before check in time 3pm having travelled overnight to get there. Our experience in the UK is that if you arrive early hotels accept you asking if you can get in, and they will typically check the room is available, if there isn’t they will let you know and you accept you need to wait. This person didn’t check, just said we can’t check in. We went back at two just to check again, and again the person didn’t check and just said no. Literally could not have cared less. Just poor, computer says no, customer service."
