"I was only at this property for a night in between layovers, but Celeste and her husband were extremely accommodating -- they even offered to drop me off at the airport the next morning so I wouldn't have to arrange transport. "We had a very pleasant, brief stay here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The property has many wonderful, picture worthy, garden nooks. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. It is like driving into a little oasis near the airport."

"I think it's important to know this is someone's house with a few hotel rooms upstairs. There are some less-than-ideal aspects. The place is very echoey, so if the owners are entertaining downstairs you will hear it in your room. The lighting is very harsh, bright white, which is a big no for me personally. And the bathroom/shower has frosted glass walls that lead on to the hallway. No one can really see you but it doesn't feel that comfortable. Just some strange design choices. The owner couple...

"This is a lovely setting and the hospitality is warm and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable - the only issues we had were that one of the electrical outlets was dead and the ceiling fan wasn’t operational, so had to swap out electrical charging station for portable fan to sleep. But VERY minor issues given the very comfortable rooms and baths, delicious food, and obvious desire on everyone’s part to make us feel at home. Stevie and Espíe were especially delightful and accommodating."

"This is a basic local guest house. No backup generator which is key in South Africa these days (rolling blackouts). Only one choice for breakfast. Small room."

"The Guesthouse is located in a special business zone of Sandton which is the economic powerhouse of SA. It therefore becomes easy for any business related trips to stay at the Guesthouse. However, management is supposed to provide facilities such as self-cooking services at affordable prices rather than sending guests to buy food from the mall which may be too expensive or the food will be cold.
