"The breakfast they serve is delicious! They were so kind to box up our breakfast for us because we had reservations to go out on a lobster boat tour! The bed and breakfast was in walking distance to everything in bar harbor and spotless. So glad I chose this place to stay! "
"We had a wonderful time at Island Place. It is a great location and we enjoyed many of the restaurants near the property. The staff of Island Place were very kind and set this place apart from other Bar Harbor options. We were heading into town for a wedding and they helped make sure we were checked in and ready to go! We would definitely stay here again! "

"The location was great to walk to almost everything. Was able to take a trolley to the park for a tour which we would highly recommend. The room was very clean. Shower was great lots of pressure. The gifts that were left in the place was very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone we know coming to Maine - bar harbor. "

"Would’ve been a great overall stay for Bar Harbor. Very convenient to town, beaches, and Acadia National Park. Great room very clean apart from the vibrator left in the drawer if the bedside table. Staff immediately came and removed it and re-cleaned the room but no compensation offered which wasn’t necessary but would’ve been nice but we already got a really good deal on our room price so it wasn’t the end of the world. That being said, we would definitely stay again.
