"I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I was so frustrated and tired my entire stay. I didn’t get to relax how I wanted to on my trip. The place is beautiful but it’s to massive! No one tells you have to hike to get anywhere. In 2 hrs we walked 13,000 steps! We were going in circles, the employees weren’t much help, they kept telling us to go different directions (wrong ways) maybe because the place is fairly new and employees still don’t know their way around but it was very upsetting. The first morning we tried to go to the lago restaurant and it took us over an hour to get there, we get there at 10:15am, breakfast ends at 11am, the line was so long, people waiting everywhere, we tried putting our name on the list and they said we wouldn’t make on time for breakfast because there was so many people waiting. So we went to the lazy river (again we get lost) we get there at 10:50, they told us the same thing, it was too late to eat there. It’s too big of a place, if you decide to go be prepared to go on hikes. All of our feet hurt. The theme park was not in service, my kids wanted to go on the roller coaster but was not open. Will never stay here again. "
Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive & Spa
4/10 Poor
"Hard to communicate, none of the staff could speak english. Very pushy with upgrades & segregates you if you’re not part of the “fiesta club”. Food was decent, Italian restaurant took 1 hour for appetizers to come out.
Housecleaning woke us up ever. Single. Day. & entered into the room every morning 9am & 10am without fail despite having the do not disturb sign on the door and telling them no. You can’t get complimentary anything including no late check out & they will charge you even if you checkout and need to hang around waiting for your departure flight which is uncommon at all inclusives. Even beach towels, they will mark how many you have and you have to sign and return them or you’ll get charged.
Went with a group of friends for a bachelorette- they did not do anything special too. Just go somewhere else unless you’re specifically looking for a budget family resort near downtown PV. They have no amenities or game rooms for people over the age of 12. No buffet and you can only dine at reso only dinner restaurants so it’s hard to be flexible with your schedule, if you miss your reso, you are simply not eating. They also shut down the breakfast/lunch buffet between 12pm-1pm which is odd because it’s peak lunch period.
Beds were comfy though"
"Had a fantastic time at the newly renovated RIU. Kids club was fantastic, food was awesome, and staff were amazing. Definitely one of the better all inclusive we have been to."
"This resort ticks all the boxes! Beautiful, cool rooms esthetically pleasing white on white with little vines in vases for a green touch of colour. The pool is large with lots of shade trees and palapas. The grounds are gorgeous and the beach is stunning. The food and drinks are good but the staff is AMAZING, without exception! I will absolutely recommend this to any family or couple or solo traveller without hesitation and will be returning as a regular! "
"The cleanest, best maintained resort I have ever been to. The customer service is top notch. We tried other resorts but we keep coming back to paradise village. It has it all. We stayed in the coba building, which was recently completely renovated. They added a new pool and hot tubs at the rear with full service bar and it is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect. "
Crown Paradise Golden All Inclusive Resort - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"The rooftop pool was great and the staff was excellent. Special shout out to the food at the Paradise restaurant. From check in, to waiters, to housekeeping, everyone made our trip amazing!! "
"We stayed here for a week and we were put in an adjoining room. We could hear every conversation in the other room and they weren’t quiet. There were no drawers to put our clothes so we had to keep everything in our opened suitcases on the table. There was 1 cockroach found in the room on the fridge. The room had a great view of the ocean on the 11th floor with a nice balcony to relax on. There were only 3 restaurants to choose from and they usually served the same food. Not a ton of amenities, the bars don’t open until 11-12! The gym had very few machines and some were broken. To my gringo friends: do not eat at the hotdog/hamburger food cart unless you want bathroom issues. Overall we had a relaxing time, but got bored by the 4th or 5th day. "
