"I recently stayed at Decameron El Salvador and overall I would describe the experience as just okay. There were definitely some positives, but also several things that would make me think twice before returning. The biggest disappointment was the food. While there was a decent variety, the quality was pretty poor overall and many dinners left us still hungry afterward. The reservation system for specialty restaurants was also very strange — almost like a Hunger Games situation. Reservations opened at 7:00 AM and if you were not there immediately, you were out of luck for the day. The rooms were dated and could use renovations, but they were at least kept clean during our stay. The real highlight of the resort is definitely the pools and the beach/ocean area. Both were beautiful and easily the main selling point of the property. The staff experience was mixed. Some employees were incredibly kind and helpful, while others came across as rude and uninterested, so service really depended on who you interacted with. Overall, the resort was not terrible, but it did not fully meet expectations either. Between the food, confusing reservation system, and inconsistent service, I would probably choose to stay somewhere else next time."

"muy mala experiencia para el precio que se paga tuve una habitación con vista al mal de las mejores que tienen me tuvieron más de una hora fuera mi habitación porque el aire acondicionado no servía y estaba liqueando y mojó la cama tuvieron que cambiar el colchón y ropa de cama. tambien en dado momento tomando un baño en la regadera dejó de llegar agua por unos 3 minutos o más muy mal servicio la verdad no volvería a ese hotel"

"Mi esposo y yo estuvimos por 3 noches, el lugar es bonito y limpio, aun estan en reparaciones de la estructura y no tenemos ninguna mala impresion con eso, pero el personal debe ser mas amable y no ser demasiado serios o hasta hacernos sentir incomodos tanto en la recepcion como en el bar, cuando los empleados son amables y te hacen sentir bien recibido uno desea volver al lugar, No solo por la locacion pero por como le hacen sentir. Por lo demas el lugar esta bien."

"Very kind staff. We had one incident which I am sure was a simple misunderstanding and the staff was quick to respond and correct. I have stayed here before with a family of 13 and I am happy to say we will continue to stay here when we need to stay close to the airport. Food and comfort!"

"It was very close to the airport so after traveling on the plane we were here in no time at all. The pool was lovely and my daughter loved it. I loved hanging out on the hammocks and the breakfast was a plus! Would recommend staying for a night or two."
