"We stayed here for a weekend while visiting friends in Rota. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. No contact with anyone in person, given codes to access the room etc which was fine. its very central and there are plenty of places to get a coffee for breakfast just outside the main entrance. Only issue for us was noisy guests returning at 3am. I would happily stay here again if I was visiting again as it suited us perfectly. "

"Excellent stay at Plaza Mina Suites. We had the penthouse apartment which had a fabulous private roof terrace with table and chairs and sun loungers which we made use of due to having great weather in March. Great location, shops and restaurants around the corner. The old town of Cadiz is very walkable - nothing was more than a 15-20 minute walk away at the most from the apartment. "Very comfortable bed with a firm mattress, highly recommend! Location was great too. A little noisy by the street but the accommodation did provide earplugs so cannot fault. The bathroom is a little dated and could do with a refresh, but very clean and spacious. Towels and shower gel provided. The shower had good pressure and temperature too. Staff were in every day and bathrooms were cleaned once or twice a day. Thank you, hope to be back soon."

"The spa was so lovely and they had a kids hour- we had a great time there! The pool is beautiful, breakfast was quite a spread and the staff was kind and competent. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"We have friends locally so our time spent in the hotel was minimal and didn't use the pool or gym if there is one. It's very clean and our room was calm and spacious, though because it is a big complex, it felt like a long walk just to get to the path or beach, but other rokms face the pool and are more central. It's generally well maintained and you can see staff working around the site but there were still areas that are overlooked, like woodwork in the bathroom. It's not a deal breaker as it was very nice. My major gripe was an incredibly rude member of staff in the restaurant and i refused to go in afterwards as Rota has plenty of places to eat and drink; his behavior caused me to spend my money elsewhere because of him tutting and blowing his disapproval at us. It was however, one person, and most staff were pleasant and friendly. "

Within a 5 minute walk to the beach and all the coolest restaurants. Home away from home. Definitely coming back ! "
