"If you are drawn to this hotel by seeing it on People of the North, then prepare to be disappointed. The location is lovely and the rooms are large, and of course the view of the fjord is stellar, but there are several areas for disappointment. The dinner menu, for example, remains the same night after night. There is a "white fish of the week," rather than a selection of fish for main courses. There is lamb; it is fine. But if you are at the hotel for several nights, the menu is dull and you...

"Next to the train station"

"There is nothing better than a homely well run family hotel and Fleischers is exactly that. There is a super strong team spirit focused on delivering first class service. The hotel has so much character but has still managed to modernise sympathetically. Rooms were lovely. Pool was amazing and warm! The views were to die for even in the showers. Breakfast was simply lovely and I enjoyed everything with pots of English breakfast tea. I booked for 3 days but stayed for five and I will definitely...

"Pent hotell"

"Helt greit. Under pari mat. Tett sluk på badet og elendig seng. Generelt hyggelig personale."

"Great experience"

"The hotel is very charming and cosy, in a wonderful location with great views. It's close to the main road and there is a grocery shop and a cafe within a 10 minute drive. We were greeted by the staff at the entrance, given the key and then we were free to explore the area and take in the surrounding views. The room was spacious but cosy, functional and very clean, the bed was comfortable and warm. The building has seen better days, but everything is clean and well taken care of, so our stay...

"5 minutes walk to the station. Nice staff, great breakfast, big room, plenty of room in the restaurant and entry areas, great view across the river. We would stay again."
