"Overall a not bad place to stay BUT ....... We travel extensively and stay in lot of hotels in the USA and Canada. We were conditioned to free WiFi. This hotel offers FREE WiFi for 30 minutes a day and you have to pay a fee for usage beyond that. 30 minutes! It's not like they undercharge for their rooms and have to make up for it with extra fees."

"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."

"Amanda was very welcoming when we arrived and a bonus was the free onsite parking and close proximity to the university. It was just what we needed for the one night stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit dated, and the shower roof is on a slant so I managed to stand upright, just, but any taller and you would struggle. I did appreciate they had left a stool though so you could sit down and not bump your head if you wanted too. Amanda was very kind and apologised when I explained about it....

"This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea. "Zentrumsnahes Hotel, dennoch ruhig gelegen. Das Doppelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten war sehr geräumig. Die kleine Küchenzeile inkl. Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher sowie Kühlschrank haben wir gerne als Selbstversorger morgens und abends genutzt Das Service-Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Absolute Empfehlung- vielen Dank!"

"I loved this place. It was exactly as described. Clean, modern furnishings in a beautiful old building. Comfortable bed, plush towels, great heating system. I had a gap between when I arrived in Edinburgh and the 15:00 check in which is often the case. Your code will let you into the building and a room in the basement where you can leave your luggage. This was greatly appreciated. The location was excellent. I walked everywhere and didn’t once use Edinburgh’s wonderful public transportation....

"The property worked for our family of 5 stay; however, property does not have AC which would be important in the summer. Additionally, sleeping 5 meant sharing spaces as there is only a large great room / kitchen and the master bedroom with master bath. If you need a laundry you’ll have to reserve somewhere else. The location was the best attribute of this property. It is close to everything."
