Shower was powerful with good temperature: Facilities - Hot tub was out of order and I was not made aware of this when I arrived and said I was going to use the spa. It was evident from the certificates and photos around the place that it had been a hotel & restaurant of note with award winning credentials. It isn’t a shiny glitzy hotel but equally the decor was quite tired and patched up in places. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended."
