"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...

Superb hotel along the sea front

"Very nice hotel on the sea front. Our room was comfortable and we had a balcony. They managed to fit us in the restaurant, even though it was late and they were fully booked. We had been travelling all day from England. The food was a little pretentious for our taste, but the wine was excellent."

"Special thanks to the receptionist who helped us when we were trying to find a suitable parking space for our longer than average car - phoning the hotel next door to ask if we could park in one of their spaces. Much appreciated. All staff were very helpful. The hotel is near the train station in a quiet area but an easy level walk to the bars, restaurants, shops etc. "

Nice Appart’hotel as a base in La Rochelle’s

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things for me. The bathroom was a bit tired. But everything worked. The hotel was very pet friendly. It is as a great base for a short break in La Rochelle for the last couple of hot days in October. "
