  • Growing up in Australia listening to the tales of bravery and valour shown by both sides at Gallipoli in 1915, it was only natural that it was one of the first places I should visit in Turkey. This is the French Military Cemetery and it was so incredibly peaceful, it was one of my favourite places. It is beautifully tended, with lovely views out over the sea and I was the only person there - probably because it was the middle of winter! I will go back here and spend a few days self driving in order to spend more time in places like this. I am glad i did a tour that first day though, being both pushed for time and interested to hear the Turkish perspective from my very knowledgeable guide.

The hotel was basic, but was a good base for a night before going to Gallipoli the next morning. The staff were nice.

This is the second time I have stayed here whilst visiting the Gallipoli battlefields. it is very convenient, relatively cheap and close to many restaurants, small markets and the ferry to Çanakkale. A good buffet breakfast is provided. Unfortunately not all the staff speak English however the owner Paul is frequently around to assist with any questions. There is limited on street parking to the rear of the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift and senses controlling lighting in the stairwell don't always work in the rooms at the front of the hotel are very small, compared with those at the side and rear of the hotel. All up though good value for money and very convenient. Also be aware that the crowded house tourist agency is not connected to the hotel any longer.

Room was clean, little tiny. Staff friendly and helpful with many recomendations where to visit. Located close to ferry so if you decide to cross to Çanakkale its great option. If you are looking cheap and good place to stay definitely worth it.

Clean simple room. Close-by street parking. Close walking distance to shops & restaurants. Good breakfast. Wifi weak in the room & even the cellular data is weak in this area. No lift, so beware if you have luggage.

Gayet temiz ve rahat bir oteldi. Odaları biraz küçük ama zaten odada çok da vakit geçirmediğimiz için bize sorun olmadı. Çalışanlar da çok samimi ve sıcak kanlıydı her şeyle çok güzel ilgilendiler. Patili bebişler için de gayet uygun bir oteldi. Kedimiz gayet rahat etti oda içerisinde de otel içerisinde de.

Odalar genel olarak temiz fakat küçük, özellikle duş çok küçük, buzdolabı minibar tarzında bir dolap mevcut değil. Kahvaltı, konum ve hizmet konusunda iyi olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Fakat Hotels üzerinden rezervasyon yaptık, otelde ödediğimizde o günkü kur ile € ücretin TL karşılığı alınıyor.
