I opted for the bed & breakfast package which was totally worth it. Although the rooms were small, they were clean and had ample space for 2 adults. Amenities were good - hot chocolate, tea with milk, and sugar were a nice touch. The breakfast in the dining room was lovely. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the town center but it is a nice walk to pier -along the boardwalk.

Fabulous views and breakfast

Lovely sea-view single room with bathroom bigger than bedroom. Great view. Parking wouLd be a bit of a nightmare before 6. Fantastic breakfast with loads of options. I would stay here again.

Thoroughly pleasing experience

Every member of staff I came across was friendly and helpful in a punctual manner, even when it was clear they were busy with other work, or customers, at the same time. My room had everything I needed, and the cleaning staff clearly go to great care to make everything look fresh and presentable.

Wonderful.

Lovely - old fashioned customer service. Hard working staff - all very friendly and so attentive. The only issue was poor or non existent WiFi on upper floor at rear of hotel but outweighed by everything else - will visit again. Food brilliant.

Very friendly staff. Nice food. Lovely hotel right on the sea front. Will stay again but will choose a sea view room and request a bigger shower. Bed and pillows very comfy. Tv a bit small for a modern hotel room. Very good breakfast.

Wonderful hotel.

Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The Langham is well deserving of it's 4 stars. From start to finish my trip was lovely. Very friendly welcoming staff at reception on arrival. I had a nice sea view room which was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was great and the serving staff so friendly and helpful. Thanks to everyone at the Langham for a nice trip.

Patchy service but nice room

We stayed here on the buzz we saw in the reviews about how good the service is. But hoo boy we didn’t have that experience. Curt & disinterested. The welcome at a hotel sets the tone and we didn’t feel welcomed at all. Apart from the super friendly night-concierge, and the waiting staff, our interactions with the front desk left us with the impression that they weren’t really interested in helping. The room was nice and really spotless. Could do with some AC in the summer.

Pay for the sea view

Staff were attentive and able to answer all the questions we asked. We were especially appreciative of the gluten free breakfast options. While we chose not to pay the premium for a sea view, the outlook from our room at the rear of the hotel was drab, and if we did stay again we would make a different choice.

Clean room with amazing views

We had a one night stay at the Langham .We choose to pay an additional charge to secure a parking space at the hotel which was definately worth it . The cleaniness of the room was exceptional so thank you to your wonderful housekeeping team. The breakfast was of a good standard , and the young man that served us was very attentive and pleasant. We stayed in the cuckmere junior suite which an amazing view of the beach we would definitely visit again.
