"Laundry room with irons etc was convenient. The staff were accommodating and pleasant. There was access to extra coffee tea from the guest kitchen to replenish our kitchen in the garden suite. There were no teaspoons (just 2 large spoons) & not much sugar or coffee in the suite so had to go on a scavenger hunt to the guest kitchen upstairs. If we were missing something we could usually find it in the guest kitchen. The large common area was right above our bedroom area &, being an old building,...

"Just an all around beautiful property right next to the ocean. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful and the water was hot. Breakfast was fresh, we enjoyed some board games and a charming view. Overall we would highly recommend it here."

"There was a lot of construction on the streets near the property making it difficult to navigate. Also they no longer have a shuttle for downtown. The room was very clean. "

There was a dirty hand towel on the washroom floor, a long black hair on one of the hand towels by the sink, a lot of toothpaste residue on the shelf above the sink and 4-5 small black hairs inside the bathtub. Also, the jets in the bathtub didn’t work, which wasn’t a big deal but disappointing because I was looking forward to...

Cath and Roy were incredibly welcoming and made our stay feel special. We chose the breakfast option, which worked perfectly for us, and Cath checked in to make sure the menu suited our tastes. We’d happily return and highly recommend the property."

"Beautiful rural location, quiet, peaceful, and private. Hot tub was clean warm and secluded wonderful view of wild deer roaming property as you soak in hot tub. Easy access to downtown Victoria and all the city has to offer. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Would not hesitate to book this wonderful BnB again. Thank you to Karl and Mandy for providing such a great BnB."

"The spa, pool, and hot tub is lovely. We enjoyed the pub as well. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot. Some aspects of the room weren’t super well maintained though (a couple light bulbs burnt out, some deep cleaning needed in areas, carpets needed deep clean/smelled a little funny, etc.) But otherwise would still recommend it.
