"The Hotel was absolutely fabulous & certainly lived up to expectations , We had a suite on the 14th floor . The Housekeeping was brilliant & the suite was extremely comfortable . The staff could not have been more professional , helpful & informative . I cannot name them all but Barbara on Reception . "Hotel is in a great location Midtown to easily access all the sights by walking and is 5 mins walk to Grand Central station for access to the subway and trains. Rooms are very clean and well equipped with tea / coffee and fridge facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly. Well equipped gym with cardio machines and a good selection of dumbbells for weight training. Definitely recommend this hotel"

"Great location and very spacious room."

"We loved the whole aesthetic of the hotel-the books, the Dewey decimal system themed rooms- it is a great themes in keeping with it’s proximity to the nypl. We made good use of the library room. It was a great place to play cards, have breakfasts, or sit and read. We will be back!"

"The reusable water bottles with the water dispenser was very great to have nearby!"

"Great choice for 5th Avenue. The location is great for shopping. The hotel room is comfort with a warm atmosphere."

"Excellent location,"

"This is a great place for the price point but it is noisy. The staff was great, breakfast was well stocked to the last minute, property was clean, and the location is perfect for getting anywhere in Manhattan. The downside, is the walls are thin and elevator noisy. Given the city it is in, the noise becomes part of the ambiance. I would stay there again if the rates remain decent."

"Very outdated, room, corridors and lobby floors are dirty."

"Staff are always wonderful"
