It seems like they have been making constant improvements to the property. The spa closes early (6p) and several amenities in the spa were out of order. "Lovely stay in a nice room with en-suite, loved the old furniture and beautiful bathroom fittings. Staff lovely, continental breakfast with lots of choice.
Parking is free, and although it is a very small village it was nice to walk around and the villagers were friendly too. "
"Easy to access, bustop right outside. It took 25 min to Edinburgh by bus. Our room (with private bathroom) was clean and nice. It was kind of thin walls though, we could all hear each other. We were only there for 3 nights, but we would recommend it! "
"Quaint stone house converted in to a 10 room hotel. These are quite common in Edinburgh, and there are quite a few of them in the same area.
Recently renovated and clean. The other guests were all quite which was nice. A short distance from the action of the Royal Mile, about 10 min by buses that run ever few minutes.
WiFi was very slow, but other then that it was a great place to stay and I would stay here again."
