very quiet village, a place to go if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. River Tyne flows there, nice spot.

The room was small and cosy but clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant was great. Good menu and cooked perfectly. There was not a big choice for breakfast. It was either a cooked Scottish breakfast or cereals but I think you could have had scrambled or poached eggs with toast if you wanted. There ...

We booked a large room. It was clean and tidy. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was great. Very close to Portobello promenade. Bus stop was next to the hotel which allowed easy access to the city centre.

It was great having a washer and dryer but written directions would’ve been helpful. We did figure it out from the Little pictures.

The space was lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much! The only challenge was that we could not turn on any heat in the living room area and it was a little chilly.
