"The hotel is just right before getting into Hofn town. We can see Aurora from here. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfsst served are just cold cuts and Museli with milk. There are no American breakfast. It's probably the Icelandic style."

"Krakhamar was great, the owner was very friendly and helpful, the day we were supposed to leave the road was washed out, and she was very accommodating and helpful. As for the apartment, we were able to cook a fantastic dinner, and enjoyed a peaceful night sleep, despite the storm outside."

"This hotel was clean & well maintained. It was quiet & lots of parking. PLUS! free laundry which was a nice surprise. It is right across the street from the water & easily walkable. This hotel is quiet, clean & very nice. The self serve kitchen was clean & big. The wifi was a bit in & out in our room but great in the kitchen area (there are 2 wifi zones). Would stay here again. "
