The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. You will get a friendly welcome from owner, Paul Doran, in the dining room. Staff is very responsive and helpful. We loved this place- a really special experience."

"I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help."

"We got a warm welcome from the staff at reception when we arrived which set the scene for a lovely relaxed stay. Our room was clean, well equipped, quiet with a nice view of the garden. We had a nice evening meal in the bar restaurant with excellent service and our breafast was all we could wish for. Wish we were able have stayed a bit longer. Will definitely be back. "

"WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. "

"I got the room which is very far from elevator. It took me about 200 steps to walk. the walkway is getting narrower once you walk further."

"Wish we would have had another night at the hotel as we had originally planned. Had to cut it to one night due to a very aggressive travel plan. Might have bumped rating up to 5 if we could have experienced more of the amenities but we stayed only one night and were on a really tight time schedule. Staff was great. Gave us all kinds of good information on restaurants and pubs, which we took advantage of. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location on the river, right...

"It was close to downtown. We were on the main floor so would have gotten a room on a higher floor. A little noisy for us even around 11pm."
