"Room was tiny (booked a superior double) and not overly clean (dust all headboard and bathroom needed a more thorough clean!) Walls are paper thin and could hear everything from next door (daughters got woken by their next door neighbours returning back at 1:30am) Very short staffed so long wait times. Food was mixed- steak was v v oily but beef pie was lovely (veg and potatoes cold though) Breakfast wasn’t great, rock hard poached and fried eggs, microwaved defrosted ciabatta (not toasted) and supermarket bought waffles. Bit disappointing really, probably won’t stay again"

"Reception staff quick & helpful. Room clean & spacious. Tea/Coffee/Kettle provided along with a microwave & fridge. Noisy music from NUFC bar opposite until early hours. Get a room at the back to avoid this. Good breakfast choice but pricey at £19."

"Hotel is lovely. Convenient location. Staff really helpful. We stayed on a Friday night and we were concerned it might be noisy bu we had no issues at all. Only surprise was the shower arrangement in our twin room… the shower is actually in the bedroom, with opaque screens, however theres no where inside the cubicle to put your towel or remove your clothes without getting them wet. No problem for couples, but any exoected twist when you’re away with friends! "
