"Exellent Superior room, spacious and clean room, superking size bed, on the hard side but suited us, lovely foyer and bar area, very friendly and helpful staff. Location suited us with plenty parking ( you have to pay but this is getting normal these days), lovely to walk along the riverbank into Durham, We only used the Restaurant for breakfast ( which was included) nice selection for breakfast which we enjoyed..We would definitely use again if in Durham.."

"Room and hotel clean and nice check in staff. Disappointed with breakfast at the hotel. We went to breakfast a hour before the finish time and no pastries, not much variety of fruit, had to wait a long time for hot food items to be replenished and also just instant coffee no coffee machine to pick different types of coffee or hot chocolate. Also very noisy outside hotel at night. Had booked it as near daughters accommodation but very loud music from The Shack opposite outside football stadium. "

"Ideal location for visiting Durham etc & good Internet. Rooms outside a little tired but superb bathroom with lovely hot water and good lighting especially good for ladies applying makeup. Bed comfortable and bedding lovely. Room very clean. Staff were good at conversing with customers. Although only stayed one night would have no hesitation in booking again and would book direct."

"Love to stay at the Maldron when in Belfast, its very central to everything and an easy 5 minute walk from the Metro station (Monument). Its very clean and comfortable and has a great bar and lobby area for relaxing."
