"Beautiful house and delicious breakfast! We loved staying here. The rooms were gorgeous and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated hearing the history of the house and Durango at breakfast."
"The Leland House is a really cool historic building just south of Main Street next to Lola's (Great little spot for food). Parking in back down the alley was easy to find, but might be a little tight with a bigger vehicle. Our room was ready early and we were able to check in when we arrived. All information for check in was texted to us. The Leland team was very responsive when we needed to communicate with them. Since the building is old there is some noise from outside and in the...
"Very clean property, accommodating staff. Parking was easy, nice hot tub. Particularly impressed with how quiet it was and rooms not smelling like smoke or “other” legal things in Co. "
"Not sure how many of the rooms are remodeled but the one we got was and was very nice. They have a good morning breakfast and while they don't have a fitness center onsite, they provide free access to the well-equipped Durango Rec Center just a mile down the street - if you're looking for weights or some post-hiking light exercises. Hadn't stayed there before but would definitely recommend."
"Location, location, location. Best shower of my life! Great Crabtree & Evelyn products. Right on the river! Definitely book the riverside room. Walk to the train (Must do!) and downtown shops and restaurants. "
"Great stay at a great location.
Train station next door and plenty of dinning and shopping options at walkable distance.
Breakfast is basic grab and go. "
"The breakfast was considerably better than other hotels. The fire alarm at midnight was inconvenient and apparently not all that necessary. This is a nice hotel and I recommend it."
"James checked me in and put a smile on my face just by being friendly. The room is great and parking is convenient. The AC works, it just needed an hour to get cranking. There's a cool stream nearby. The area is walkable; James recommended Fridas, an excellent Mexican restaurant about 3-4 blocks up the road. Great margaritas and tacos and excellent salsa, an easy walk. The trolley that moves people around town has a stop right here. The wifi is a little slow - but you're in Durango, go outside!"
