"My stay at the Hampton Inn was okay overall. The accommodations were decent, and the experience was fairly average. Nothing particularly stood out as exceptional except, how friendly the staff was. There weren't any major issues either. It was a reasonable place to stay for a short visit. Pool area was closed for maintenance so I wasn't able to use the hot tub."

"Check in was at 4 we arrived at 4:10 when we walked into the office the ice machine was leaking and SMELLED. The woman at the desk we could barely hear but told us that the room was not ready and to wait 10 minutes. We came back 20 minutes later and she gave us the key and where the room was with an attitude. When we got to the room the door was wide open and no one was there but a cleaning cart was outside the door. We walked into the room and two housekeepers came up and said the room was...

"Centrally located 5- 10 minute drive to Newport center. v Good hotel for pet owners and we'll maintained"

"Everything was just right."

"We were there celebrating our 57th wedding anniversary. It was relaxing and we had a beautiful view of the water from our room. The food at the in house restaurant(Johnny's) was convenient and delicious ."

"It was clean and the staff was friendly BUT 1) during the complimentary breakfast I peeled an orange and it was BLACK in the middle and the apples were so soft that they had to be out for 2 weeks 2) every night there was noise from next door and every morning noise from above despite the fact that the place was much less than half full 3) asked the person at desk for very basic information and she told me she had just moved there and knew nothing (she was friendly though)."

"Very clean and welcoming hotel. Room and beds were comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety. It’s so nice to have ample free parking as well! Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!"

"This was the worst part of our family road trip. The hotel was run down and had several doors with shattered glass. Seemed a little unsafe but we didn’t arrive until after midnight or I would not have stayed. The breakfast was mid at best. The yogurt and milk were both spoiled or expired. The halls had a horrible smell. For over $500 for one night, I would have expected way more. I will give my business to holiday inn from now on. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here."

"The photo for the hotel was of a much nicer building down the street, not the hotel at all. The rooms were shown fairly accurately. It has 2 separate buildings with the lobbies not at parking level."

"Bathroom sink did not drain and had no hot water Ring around toilet bowl … not taken care of by complaint to staff … “windows and bathroom door mirror dirty Room 4 adjacent to common area where people congregated for coffee and rolls or whatever .. I was assured I would not hear any noise - could hear every word said starting at 6:30. Bed not made up first day And this is a premium room !!!!!!! Outside deck right outside my windows so no privacy had to keep shades closed …. Told all rooms...

"Fabulous place to stay in Newport. Patrick was wonderful and the place was adorable!"

"New property with spacious luxurious rooms, very comfortable bed and convenient location (easy walk to restaurants). Kind and helpful staff. Extremely clean!"
