The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. "We had a lovely stay at Lyrath Estate from the 1st to the 4th of January. The hotel was still decorated for Christmas, which added to the festive feel. The staff were a standout. There were plenty of staff on hand, and everyone we encountered was friendly, courteous and helpful. It was like they embodied the character of the hotel, which was so refreshing and welcoming. "Staff was great, parking was easy. We stayed on a Saturday night and the bars didn’t close until 2a, so it was loud in our room until then, but next time we know to just stay up instead. 😉"

"From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. The room was cosy and clean. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked clean too. The location is right in the town and there’s a big car park (pay and display) behind it, with very handy EV charging. Being a busy bar, it gets noisy at night. There are good places to eat nearby in the town, and the parkrun...

"Ollie could not do enough to make us feel welcome, the rooms were spotless and had everything you needed But really stood out was the fact our ferry was cancelled and had to book another night at last minute, he had no problem with doing this and when asked how much we owed him on check out he would accept any money, just said he was please could make our inconvenience a little better, this will now be our favourite accommodation when visiting family, amazing stay!
