"I extended a business trip into a long weekend in Amsterdam and this was the perfect hotel. I appreciated the secure entry to my floor that required a key card. I am enjoying the quality of the coffee at breakfast staff especially around the dining area is very polite and extremely efficient. I had a great view of the river and the price wasn’t too expensive for my room. Ben was very comfortable and while the room doesn’t have all of the drawer space in closets like you might find in an American hotel similar size. . "Your first impression upon arrival will be WOW this hotel is digusting .. and you would be right ..Hotel was not clean, rooms stunk and were NOT acceptable. Stains on carpet, tubs, sheets. Beds are CHEAP and are not even connected to anything. Parking lot is a disaster, AIR CONDITIONER SOUNDED LIKE A SEMI TRUCK PARKED IN YOUR ROOM. However I will say Hannah at the front desk was wonderful and very understanding. I’m sure she deals with a lot of complaints, yet she was professional and very understanding. "

"Beautiful views of the lake. Close to walking. Unfortunately when we checked in for our kids spring break the hotel told us their pool/hot tub/sauna was closed. Being out of town and our kids really looked forward to swimming was the majority of our plans. Along with booking here for their sauna, the only hotel I could find in Duluth with one. Their discounted our stay, but overall was disappointed. Had two find two different evenings of plans for our family. Will definitely call hotel directly next time vs expecting stay updates from Expedia. Hotel had good breakfast, views, rooms, balcony was perfect as well. "
